Longines inspires me : MINI DOLCEVITA

Longines presents THE women’s novelty of the year : MINI DOLCEVITA.

Yesterday morning, I spoke with Rachel about the Mini DolceVita collection from Longines, a pure symbol of elegance. The brand has just launched the collection in New York. You can discover the event in detail on Amilcar Magazine.

Elegance in every detail

The new MINI DOLCEVITA has arrived.

With its discreet profile, classic style and aesthetic variations that are as modern as they are timeless, this small but powerful timepiece perfectly reflects the “discreet luxury” and contemporary elegance of Longines. The MINI DOLCEVITA models are sure to appeal to dynamic women looking for watches that go with every outfit.

Although small, the Mini DolceVita makes a remarkable arrival. This resolutely contemporary jewelry watch displays a timeless style down to the smallest details.

With its sleek case, softened lines and new stainless steel bracelet, this modern classic has a look that is as chic as it is elegant. Coming from a long lineage, the Mini DolceVita is inspired by a legendary Longines piece created in 1927 and, of course, by the DolceVita collection of 1997. It is this line which launched the now famous slogan “Elegance is an attitude”, a story that the new Mini DolceVita continues. All models in the Mini DolceVita collection come in a rectangular stainless steel case measuring 21.50 mm x 29.00 mm equipped with a high-precision L178 quartz movement. Their watertightness is guaranteed up to 3 bars (30 meters).

The centerpiece of this new line dazzles with its rectangular case adorned with 38 Top Wesselton IF-VVS diamonds. Its new circular Cosmo dial catches the eye with its elegant sobriety. Visible thanks to a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, it is characterized by subtle contrasts. Its background is sunray silver, the matte white hour indicator, an inner circle also silver and a round matte white small seconds sub-dial. Painted Roman numeral hours and blued steel hands contrast with the light tones of the dial for greater ease of reading. This model is offered with a unique stainless steel bracelet which, with its 198 links, underlines the jewelry spirit of the timepiece and offers comfort and flexibility when worn. Modern and bold,

Mini DolceVita watches come in an impressive array of colors and configurations. Six of the new references feature a case adorned with diamonds. In addition to the classic version presented, another model is equipped with a rectangular silvered Roman dial which is distinguished by its flinqué decoration. When struck, its delicate geometric patterns appear in relief with a guilloché appearance, painted Roman numerals and blued steel hands complete them. The small seconds are revealed in a square sub-dial at 6 o’clock.

Four of the six diamond-set references are adorned with original colors: ivory white, mint green, floral pink and serene blue. Their bracelet matches perfectly with the exterior of the rectangular Roman dial, while the guilloché-effect interior square of the case provides a striking contrast. The golden Roman hour numerals and hands create a three-dimensional effect, completing the unique aesthetic of these versions. The leather strap matching each model makes it a perfect expression of Longines elegance.

The new Mini DolceVita line also includes five references with unset, discreet and equally dazzling cases. They complete the myriad of variations offered. Models with a Roman dial sit alongside those with a sandblasted silver-finish Cosmo dial. Each of these pieces is offered on the new stainless steel bracelet or an elegant black leather strap. The Roman dial watch is also available on a red leather strap.

Each Mini DolceVita model thus stands out as an expression, both small and powerful, of the elegance and gentleness of Italian living which have characterized the collection since its beginnings.

“Elegance is an attitude”: more than a slogan

Longines is inseparable from its famous slogan “Elegance is an attitude”. Elegance is an instinctive and elusive concept. If it sometimes escapes any definition, it is immediately recognizable. We find it present among our Ambassadors of Elegance Jennifer Lawrence, Regé-Jean Page, Kate Winslet, Suzy and even Zhao Ling. But also at the heart of every Longines watch, including the new Mini DolceVita, with its graceful lines and discreet proportions.

“Elegance is an attitude. Of course it is! »Jennifer Lawrence, Longines Ambassador of Elegance .

“Elegance is unique because it allows us to free ourselves from traditional aesthetic codes while revealing multiple facets of our personality. It offers the chance to constantly reinvent ourselves, according to our desires and our moods, whether serious or fanciful, while remaining faithful to our tastes and our values. » Matthias Breschan, CEO Longines.
